Deep Structure Modeling (DSM) Cellular Respiration Modeling Unit
The DSM Modeling unit uses the big idea of energy to teach cellular respiration with meaning and coherence. The unit is designed for high school biology students and consists of four 45-minute lessons. Below are links to a pacing guide, a list of materials, individual lessons, and the full unit.
The links give the instructions and handouts to teach the unit, but you will need to obtain the materials. Teachers in the Tuscaloosa, Al or Athens, GA may check out materials from us.
